A Pimm's Cup is the official drink at Wimbledon. Nowadays, you'll also find it served more readily throughout the UK in the summertime.
Pimm's No 1 is the main alcohol base in a Pimm's Cup. It is a type of fortified gin that goes perfectly with fruit, cucumbers, mint and a sweeter mixer. While I prefer my Pimm's Cup with a tart sparkling lemon soda, iced tea, 7UP or ginger ale are other common mixers.
Now that you've mixed up your drink, lets get back to game, set, match!
Enjoy,
Krista

Pimm's Cup
(makes 1 drink)
Ingredients
2 oz Pimm's No 1
3 oz sparkling lemon soda (I use Effervé as its not as sweet)
1-2 slices of cucumber, cut into pieces (I use persian cucumber)
1 strawberry sliced
2 mint leaves
Method
In a old fashioned glass, add ice, strawberry slices, cucumber pieces and mint. Pour in Pimm's No 1 and sparkling lemon soda, stirring lightly to combine.
*Other Optional Ingredients
lemon slice
orange slice
*Ribbon Garnish
3 strawberries, hulled
1 thin slice cucumber
*Recipe Notes
If you are having a Wimbledon viewing party, make sure to serve your Pimm's Cup with tea sandwiches (crusts removed of course) and strawberries and cream.
